Nathan Clarke Newcastle NSW Started his working life at Dowling Real Estate as a Property Officer. After a couple of years progressed onto being a Property Manager and in charge of a portfolio of properties. In early 2006 i was transferred to the Georgetown branch to maintain the trust accounting side of the sales department. By late 2006, I was transferred back to the head office in Hamilton to maintain their trust account and manage the office. Mid 2007, I began discussions with Mark Dowling and became a business partner in a new real estate venture named Harcourts Advantage Real Estate. This was the first Harcourts office in the Hunter. In early 2008, I left the partnership and started employment with Monteath Strata Management (which later became Body Corporate Services) as a Maintenance officer. In a short time i moved into a Strata Manager role. I was then given a small team of Strata managers to lead which included a Trainee Strata manager to mentor and assist in the learning process. I have since ceased my employment with BCS and currently work as a Property Manager with Russell Property in Charlestown. My future goals are in management and consulting. I am undertaking my MBA at the University of Newcastle to learn more about management and improve my leadership skills with the view of gaining a graduate position with a large consulting firm.
